- Phase 3 Norman Fuels Reduction Service The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Oklahoma-Texas Area Office, has a requirement for the mechanical removal of trees at Lake Thunderbird State Park located east of Norman in Cleveland County, Oklahoma to reduce the fuel accumulation. The work to be performed is described below. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotations and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. Description: The objective of this effort is to acquire services to mechanically masticate of live eastern red cedar trees in designated areas within Lake Thunderbird State Park for purposes of fuel reduction. The scope of the work is for approximately 3,720 acres, which includes a base acreage and optional acreage. NAICS And Size Standard: The NAICS code for this project is 115310 (Exception 2) with a small business size standard of $34 Million. Competition: Solicitation 140R6025R0007 is anticipated to be conducted as a total small business set aside. It is anticipated that this will be a firm fixed price, stand-alone contract with options. Solicitation Release Date: All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. A free, electronic copy of the solicitation will be available on or about April 29th at https://www.sam.gov/. This project will use a best value process in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 13.5 and Part 12.
