- Description
- This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic which will include multiple NSNs / to support the following weapon systems / operational platforms: H-60 Navy Seahawk Helicopter, B-1B Bomber, A-10 Thunderbolt, Eagle F-15 Aircraft, F-16 Fighting Falcon Aircraft, CH-53 Sea Stallion Helicopter, and AH-64 Apache Helicopter. A total of 23 NSNs are targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated that 23 will be priced for the initial contract award. The proposed action is intended to be awarded using other than full and open competition as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 . The proposed contract will be for a total 5-year period of performance. This is proposed to be a 12 and 15 effort. The proposed contract will be a fixed price Indefinite Quantity Contract, IAW FAR 16. The attached list of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The Government may award multiple contracts for this action. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at DIBBS RFP/IFB/Other RFQs Search Page (dla.mil) on the issue date cited.
