Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) requires American Red Cross (ARC), American Heart Association (AHA), or equivalent ARC or AHA adult CPR/AED/First Aid Training, as detailed in Attachment 1. Amendment 0001 updates the RFQ and the statement of work, and provides responses to the following industry questions: 1. The Statement of Work (SOW) specifies a minimum of 10 students per class, but need to know the maximum number of students expected per class. Amendment 0001 revises the SOW from minimum of 10 students per class to maximum of 10 students per class. 2. Is it acceptable to provide the quote as a price per student, as training costs are variable based on the number of students enrolled in any class? See response to Question 1. 3. Our company maintains a national network of licensed American Red Cross trainers, and we assign a trainer to a class at time of scheduling. Would it be acceptable to provide a blanket statement from the American Red Cross that shows our company and trainers are qualified to teach American Red Cross courses nationally? We will require individual certificates for each instructor that is being proposed. 4. We are able to deliver an American Heart Association (AHA) certified program that addresses all listed topics with the exception of Confined Space. Could you please clarify whether the government is seeking a full standalone Confined Space Awareness module (typically a minimum of four hours), or if this topic can be integrated into the existing 7-hour First Aid/CPR/AED training format? Please integrate into the training format. 5. How many individuals will need certification (potential total after all options)? If all lines are exercised with the maximum number of attendees (10) per class, it would potentially be 470 individuals total. 6. Does the government provide the space on the government facility to train the 10 attendees? What are the class dates during each CLIN? The Statement of Work confirms class location to be on the NUWC training site, which can host the required number of attendees. The class dates and exact location are to be determined by the Government and the contactor during the Period of Performance dates listed on the RFQ.
