Description
Title: INDEFINITE-DELIVERY, INDEFINITE-QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULTIPLE-AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACTS (MATOC) FOR CONSTRUCTION IN SUPPORT OF THE SOUTHWEST COASTAL LOUISIANA COASTAL STORM RISK MANAGEMENT PROJECT AND OTHER USACE NONSTRUCTURAL STORM RISK MANAGEMENT PROJECTS IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA Request for Feedback: This is a special notice to obtain feedback on the draft Request for Proposals for subject requirement Design-Build MATOC. No offers may be submitted, and no offers will be evaluated. Interested vendors are invited to provide feedback and ask questions about this draft RFP via ProjNet. Instructions on how to do this are included in the solicitation section 00010 under MVR.02 - QUESTION AND ANSWER VIA PROJNET. All feedback and questions must be submitted by the closing date of this notice. Description: The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a target of five contractors under a Regional Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (IDIQ MATOC) with a total shared capacity not to exceed (NTE) $957M to meet the construction requirements of designing plans for and constructing floodproofing on up to 3,189 eligible properties in the Southwest Coastal Louisiana Nonstructural Storm Risk Management Project (SWCLA). These properties identified during feasibility are situated in the eligible lowest-lying floodplain. Of these properties, it is estimated 1,800 can be floodproofed under current funding availability (see Funding paragraph below). The remaining use of this MATOC?s ordering capacity will be reliant upon future funding of SWCLA or similar projects in the region. There are currently three other nonstructural storm risk management projects in various phases of planning or implementation that would be eligible to use this acquisition for work performed in the state of Louisiana. MVR anticipates utilizing this acquisition for 100% of floodproofings within SWCLA. NOTE TO VENDORS: Please consider adding your company to the list of interested vendors below if you are planning to put in a offer when the solicitation comes out. We will be sure to send you a courtesty email notifying you when its posted.
