Description
This is a Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested under solicitation number W9132V25S1730. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued as 100% set-aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 541512 � Computer Systems Design Services, and the size standard of 34M. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulation at FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-02 (12/23/2019) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DPN 20190531(10/01/2019). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses can be accessed in full text at https://www.acquisition.gov. The U. S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geospatial Research Laboratory (GRL) has a requirement for a Custom Workstation to be performed in accordance with the Description of Requirement (DOR) in the attached RFQ. REQUIREMENT The Geospatial Research laboratory needs an autocorrelator device for femtosecond laser pulse diagnostics. The GRL must procure this diagnostic instrument so that they can characterize the femtosecond pulses generated by a laser that produces femtosecond pulses in the spectral range of 630nm to 5000nm. The performance of the autocorrelator needs to meet certain specifications provided in the table below. The research team at GRL considered the laser output from the Opera HP optical parametric amplifier device to come up with these specifications and requirements for the laser. Selection Process: Technical experts at GRL will review each quote offered to GRL in response to this solicitation. The vendor is requested to provide clear quotes showing that their products meet all the listed requirements to ensure the technical experts can verify that an offered product will meet all the required standards. Evaluation: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the Lowest Price.
