- Description
- NASA plans to hold a public forum as the Commercial Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Industry Day and One-on-One meetings with industry representatives starting on May 5, 2025. Interested parties and International Partner community representatives are welcomed. NASA is currently developing Phase 2 requirements for Commercial LEO Destinations (CLD) capabilities that would be able to support NASA astronauts, international astronauts, and other spaceflight participants safely in LEO on a commercially-owned and operated space station. Additional technical and strategic information along with a preliminary schedule can be found in the CLDC Acquisition Website: https://www.nasa.gov/johnson/jsc-procurement/cldc/ NASA will provide technical documents in the upcoming CLDC Technical Library site. Please continue to monitor www.sam.gov postings and the Acquisition Website for updates on the release of any documents. Please note, the documents/links on the CLDC Acquisition Website listed above are for information and planning purposes to allow industry the opportunity to comment and to promote competition. CLDC Industry Day & One-on-One Meetings The Commercial LEO Development Program (CLDP) will host a hybrid Industry Day (In-Person & Virtual), plus One-on-One meetings. The purpose of this event is to provide preliminary information on NASAs requirements and procurement strategy for the CLDPs anticipated Phase 2 contract as well as solicit industry feedback. NASA plans to present updates to previously provided requirements as well as additional acquisition details. NASA intends to provide the Industry Day charts in the attachments section of this notice in advance of Industry Day to allow preliminary feedback which will help NASA provide clarifications and meaningful discussions during Industry Day and One-on-Ones. Please continue to check this site for CLDC Industry Day Chart attachment and additional instructions on how to provide feedback. The purpose of the One-on-One meetings is to obtain industry comments and feedback on the CLDC Phase 2 Contract Requirements and Strategy and further discuss industrys input obtained from the RFI/Sources Sought notice. The One-on-One meetings are expected to be held after the Industry Day Presentation, tentatively starting in the afternoon on May 6, 2025 through May 7, 2025, to accommodate all potential offerors attending a session. NASA plans to schedule 50-minute sessions for each One-on-One meeting and will notify interested parties of their scheduled day and time prior to the event. NASA plans for only Phase-2 CLDC potential prime offerors to participate in One-on-One meetings, but may include subcontractors or teammates. The One-on-One meetings are planned to be open conversation sessions in which neither side will make a formal presentation. To request a One-on-One meeting, please indicate as part of your companys RSVP (instructions below) and include any scheduling constraints regarding One-on-One dates/times, which NASA will try to accommodate. The following topics may be discussed at the One-on-One meetings: The general purpose of the anticipated CLDC procurement and any related information which NASA has already made accessible to the public or is otherwise being made available to all potential offerors; Specific topics/information identified in the RFI/Source Sought Notice and supporting information provided in www.SAM.gov.
