- Description
- The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is posting this Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Joint assault Bridge (JAB) Recompete Contract for review and feedback, which will allow the USG to procure the remaining Army Authorized Acquisition Objective (AAO) and ancillary requirement. The contract is anticipated to be a five-year Requirements Contract IAW FAR 16.503 with two one-year options for a total of seven years. Please note this is a DRAFT ONLY and not the final / official solicitation. ACC-DTA encourages all interested parties to provide input, as ACC-DTA values communication with industry and the purpose for this draft RFP is to gather insights, comments and concerns in order to refine the final solicitation. ACC-DTA is requesting any potential offerors to clarify any concerns, to include any potential obstacles or challenges with regard to contract type, specifically in relation to proposing to Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) with the identified ranges for the JAB Chassis, as identified in the draft RFP. Please submit all responses to michael.ibra.civ@army.mil. Disclaimers: The JAB Technical Data Package (TDP), Attachment 0001 to Draft RFP W912CH-25-R-0022 represents the latest configuration TDP which includes a Launch Control Unit (LCU), PN: 936625, which is now obsolete. The official RFP will include an update to the TDP, Attachment 0001 eliminating the LCU through the incorporation of the Mounted Family of Vehicles (MFoCS) solution. Section L (INSTRUCTIONS, CONDITIONS, AND NOTICES TO OFFERORS) and Section M (EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD) are still under review. Once reviews of Section L and M are completed, this notice will be updated with those sections. Please email the contacts listed on this posting for instructions on how to obtain any supporting documentation (Attachments, CDRLs, ect.).
