Description
Real Time Controllers for UCB Sequence of Event Recorder (SER) PURPOSE: Bureau of Reclamation, Curecanti Field Division has a requirement to replace real ��me controller to perform powerplant sequence of event functions. Sequence of Event Recorder (SER) systems provide a time-tagged sequenced record of events to aid in identifying and diagnosing power plant events. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial services, and Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The BOR intends to issue a competitive solicitation for this requirement. This source sought is issued solely to establish if there are any businesses that sell the required parts. This is NOT a Request for Proposals nor an Invitation for Bids and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of the submission of contractor's information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Responses to this request for information will not be returned and electronic submission is required. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government or form a binding contract. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor this announcement for updates and send their response to this source sought by the stated time below. BACKGROUND: The Upper Colorado Basin Region plans to install a real time controller to perform powerplant sequence of event functions. Sequence of Event Recorder (SER) systems provide a time-tagged sequenced record of events to aid in identifying and diagnosing power plant events. This procurement is for the acquisition of real time controllers and ancillary equipment required for a complete SER system. The specification and system design is based on the SEL-Axion 2240 platform including the SEL- 2241 Real-Time Automation Controller (RTAC) and other SEL-Axion modules. Equivalent products that meet or exceed the specified requirements will be considered. SPECIFICATION DETAILS: All items (Brand Name or Equal) shall be delivered to the BOR in Montrose CO. 81401 - SEL-2241 RTAC Controller � SEL-2242 10 Slot Chassis � SEL-2243 Power Coupler � SEL-2244-2 Digital Input Module � 32 conductor wiring harness, 12ft � SEL-2244-3 Digital Output Module � Box/NUC PC � VESA arm extension plate � VESA PC mount � 55-inch Video Display Unit � wall mount 55� PSC, NAICS & SIZE STANDARD: The Product Service Codes (PSC) is 6110- Electrical Control-Equipment. The potential North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 334513- Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables with a small business size standard of no more than 750 employees.
