- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Acid and Bi-Carb supply to the USMCFP Springfield located in Springfield, MO. Offerors are encouraged to submit price quote providing all listed Line items. Products to be provided should satisfy the specifications listed in the Statement of Work including but not limited to the delivery schedule. The contract type is an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with Firm-Fixed Pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Year and (4) Four 12-month Option years for renewal. Some basic information for the requirements for the Base Year and all Option Years are as follows: 2K+ Acid, Acid Concentrate 3K+ Acid, Acid Concentrate Bicarbonate Concentrate The vendor shall deliver approximately 65 (55-gallon) drums of 2K, 12 (55-gallon) Drums of 3K and 300 bags of Bicarb (7.8 kg per bag), and it is estimated that deliveries will be made on the second Tuesday of each month, throughout the duration of the contract, unless otherwise stated by the delivery order. Delivery Location: 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, MO 65807-2240 All deliveries should be made between the hours of 7:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the Rear Gate. Deliveries must be palletized unless prior arrangements were agreed to by warehouse staff. Pallets must be serviceable/ able to hold the weight of palletized product without breaking and/or damaging product when loading with electronic pallet jacks. Should palletized product be damaged during unloading/ initial inspection due to inadequate palletization, damage will remain the vendor's responsibility - this includes damage to items not being delivered to our location, should they need to be moved from/within the trailer to access our delivery. Blue CHEP/ Red painted pallets are recommended but not required for heavy pallets and pallets holding bagged goods. In some cases, the government may require non-routine orders which are determined urgent and required sooner than routine orders. In these unusual circumstances, the vendor will be required to deliver supplies. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
