Description
379 ECONS is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at Buildings B5506 and B5507, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. This project will provide reliable power protection to critical equipment within these facilities. Project Title: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Installation Project Location: Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar Magnitude of Construction: Between $250,000 and $500,000 Scope of Work: The selected contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the UPS system implementation, including: Design: Developing a detailed UPS system design, including load calculations, equipment specifications, and compliance documentation. Procurement: Procuring all necessary UPS system components (UPS units, battery banks, bypass systems, transformers, power distribution equipment, cabling, and conduit). Installation: Installing the UPS systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Testing and Commissioning: Conducting comprehensive testing to ensure system functionality and performance. Documentation: Providing complete as-built drawings, test reports, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty information. Key Requirements: Offerors must have experience designing and installing UPS systems of similar size and complexity. All proposed equipment must meet specified technical requirements and be from approved manufacturers. All technicians and electricians must be factory-certified and possess required security clearances. The project is designated as mission-essential, requiring compliance with DODI 3020.37. Information Requested: Interested parties are strongly encouraged to review the attached Solicitation documents, including the Statement of Work (SOW), and submit responses accordingly. The solicitation package contains detailed information on the technical requirements, submission instructions, evaluation criteria, and terms and conditions. Disclaimer: This solicitation is not authorization to begin performance, and in no way obligates the Government for any costs incurred by the offeror associated with developing a proposal. The Government reserves the right not to award an order in response to this solicitation. Prior to commencement of any activities associated with performance of this requirement, the Government will issue a written directive or contractual document signed by the Contracting Officer with appropriate consideration established.
