- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, CA, intends to award a single standalone Firm-Fixed-Price contract using full and open competition procedures. Negotiations, if necessary, will be conducted accordance with FAR Part 15. NAWCWD intends to procure Avionics Test Set Cable Assemblies. The Avionics Test Set Cable Assemblies are used to test the Avionics Systems onboard F-15, F-16 aircrafts. The requirement is to manufacture, package and deliver Avionics Test Set Cable Assemblies in accordance with the provided drawings and required quantities. Specifically, the Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and all the associated hardware to manufacture, test, package and deliver all Avionics Test Set Cable Assemblies as specified in the Statement of Work. This requirement is similar to the manufacturing and production requirements of N6893622D0013, an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with firm-fixed-price type task orders. The incumbent of N6893622D0013 is General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. Offers and responses to the solicitation shall be submitted using the instructions in Section L of the solicitation. As stated in Section L, the PIEE Solicitation module will be used for electronic proposal submission, Contractors are required to register in PIEE to obtain access to the solicitation module. To register in PIEE, go to https://piee.eb.mil/, and click Register. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov to start doing business with the federal government. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Export Controlled Information. Access to CUI is limited, to a single point of contact (POC) per CAGE code, who is listed as the Data Custodian on the DD 2345 and approved by Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The DD 2345 must be approved prior to requesting access to CUI in SAM.gov. Contractors are responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code?s Data Custodian POC to request access to CUI.
