- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and no other written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, (FAR Part 36) evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is 70Z02925QNEWO0094 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Construction are included in this order and are applicable. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR Part 36, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR Part 36 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR Part 36, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR Part 36. Where the word ""offer/offeror"" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to ""quote/quoter"" or a derivative of that word. This is a small business set aside, the applicable NAICS code is 238220 and PSC code is J045 This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price. Offerors must actively be registered in System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov The USCG Station New Orleans has a requirement for the vendor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace the following: Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials for the installation of a new number 2 sewage pump to match the number one sewage pump and all associated piping at Coast Guard Station New Orleans. Supply and replace pump for lift station. Diagnose issues with float switches and relays that maybe causing the lead/lag system to malfunction. Inspect wiring, connections, and relays to identify faults. Check the float switches to ensure they are properly adjusted and functioning. Verify relay operation and proper sequencing in the lead/lag system. Perform continuity tests, voltage checks, and review control logic for proper operation. Make any repairs as necessary to restore proper system operation. Please see the attached Statement of Work for specifications of work, illustrations and POC�s for setting up site visits. 30 DAY ARO FOB Destination to: USCG Station New Orleans 201 Metairie-Hammond Hwy, Metairie, LA 70005 FAR 52.237-1 - Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable.
