Would you please confirm the precise Armstrong Ultima Tile reference # for this project? Ultima Health Zone High NRC #1445 w/ Prelude XL 15/16"" Exposed Tee grid? Ultima Health Zone AirAssure #1950 w/ Prelude XL 15/16"" Exposed Tee grid? Ultima Health Zone #1935 w/ Prelude XL 15/16"" Exposed Tee grid? Ultima Health Zone #1935 w/ Prelude XL 15/16"" Exposed Tee grid Can you confirm if there will be (or not) any work be done on F Wing Reflected Ceiling? See sheet A-113 Is all Lead paint located within the 6 phases, which is outlined within the specs, to be abated completely or just encapsulated/RRP? The lead testing and lead specs were included so that if the asbestos abatement affects any surfaces with lead-containing paint, the contractor is aware of it to protect their employees properly, following RRP guidelines for cleanup, safety, etc. otherwise encapsulating with paint At the walk through there was mention of doing the abatement in hallways half and half. meaning that there will always be a walkway during the abatement process. This will not only increase the cost but also increase the time it takes to abate each phase. Also, during demolition of the ceilings and wall-mounted items/accessories how will things be adjusted to accommodate for traffic flow? It may be in the best interest to lock down the phases for the duration of demolition/abatement so it can be done quicker with no disturbances VA to answer by 4/16/25. In wing E, will there be a new grid ceiling required? If so, will the entire Sprinkler system be required to be drained or can that hall be drained separately. According to Drawing 3 on Sheet A-112, there will be dry fog spray exposed deck above in the corridors. There will not be new grid ceiling required. Regarding abatement, It was stated that the hall can abated ½ at a time to allow traffic. If the work is done after hours can the entire hall be abated at once and an alternate traffic be found to accomplish this. Recommend abating 1/2 at a time to allow traffic. Regarding new material, will there be an area inside the building to acclimate the new flooring material? VA to answer by 4/16/25. Regarding expansion joints in the hallways. It was mentioned in the plans but there are no quantities in the plans. Refer to Sheets A-001, A-101, A-102, A-103, A-201, A-202, and A-203 for the locations ( & quantities in graphical representation) of expansion joints and cover plates.
