- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to procure training by an Instructor that is certified to provide Virtual classroom instruction in SAE EIA 649C CM Certification. Students attending the SAE EIA 649C CM Certification training class will use the lessons learned during classroom instruction to provide and maintain Configuration and Change Management for the Air Operations Center Weapon System (AOC-WS). The contractor shall provide an Instructor that is certified to provide Virtual Classroom instruction on SAE EIA 649C CM Certification. Period of performance (PoP) shall be contract award plus 12 months. SAE EIA-649C Configuration Management is a certification course that explains the importance of industry standard and provides classroom instruction on how to apply these standards. The course will address the full standard and each student shall receive a licensed PDF copy of the latest version of ANSI/EIA-649C National Consensus Standard for CM. The training will cover the 649C functions: (a) planning and management, (b) configuration identification, (c) configuration change management, (d) configuration status and accounting, and (e) configuration verification and audit, as well as how these are applied in the AOC environment. The instructor will be expected to lead discussions on practical ways these principles are addressed in the AOC. Virtual classes, in Base Year and Option Year 1 (OY1): Two (2) virtual class shall be 4 hours per day for 5 days, Mon-Fri, delivered Eastern Standard Time (EST) Zone and start in the morning (estimate 8 am). One (1) virtual class shall be 4 hours per day for 5 days, Mon-Fri, delivered Pacific Standard Time (PST) Zone and start in the morning (estimate 8 am). 2.3.2 Virtual classes, in OY2 through OY4: One (1) virtual class shall be 4 hours per day for 5 days, Mon-Fri, delivered Eastern Standard Time (EST) Zone and start in the morning (estimate 8 am). One (1) virtual class shall be 4 hours per day for 5 days, Mon-Fri, delivered Pacific Standard Time (PST) Zone and start in the morning (estimate 8 am). In virtual environment, the contract shall support three SAE EIA 649C CM Certification training classes, held Mon-Fri. The contractor shall provide the virtual environment that allows for govt employees to log in/attend via government or personal laptops with video and audio interaction. All registration information shall be provided NLT 5 working days before class start.
