RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability and capability of small and large businesses to meet the Government�s requirement for a 450kV Multi-Anode Flash X-Ray System capable of a minimum of 8 captures/exposures with a minimum interframe time of 3 microseconds, and an exposure time of 500 nano seconds or less. The Flash X-Ray System, including installation and training, is to be delivered to Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC), Arnold AFB, TN. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334517, Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1200 employees. The Product/Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is 6635, Physical Properties Testing and Inspection. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Responses should include: Company Information: Company name, company address, and telephone number and e- mail address of company point of contact. System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) Number. Technical data for the system proposed to meet the requirement along with a budgetary estimate. Existing contract vehicles (GSA, NASA SEWP, etc.) where this system may be purchased if applicable.
