Moody AFB is searching for capable vendors able to fulfill the requirement of perfoming body damage repair/replacement for a flightline Crash Firetruck 2015 P-23 Oshkosh 3000 Gallon ARFF (UHP) vehicle. During a reversing incident involving an ARFF, the Left Rear side panel and Rear Left side panel were damaged, and entire engine compartment on the left side was shifted slightly forward by 3/4 inch, causing the left rear tire to brush against the front of the engine compartment. The repairs would consist of: - Removing both the damaged Left Rear (drivers) side engine compartment panel and the damaged Rear Left side engine compartment panel. - Repositioning engine compartment on the left side, towards the rear by 3/4 inch. - Assessing both panels for damage, to include chips/chunks/gouges as well as any mounting hardware that my have broken, and performing fiberglass repairs, returning the panels to their original structural integrity/shape. - Painting the panels to match existing color. - Re-installing both panels, ensuring correct fit and full functionality of all lights. For research purposes, please respond to the following in order by number. 1. Please advise on the feasibility of repair vs. replacement for the fiberglass panels. 2. Please advise either repair or replacement, if this could be done remotely, by performing these services on Moody AFB or if ARFF would need to be shipped to/from a repair facility to perfrom said repairs. Responses must address the following: Name, address, CAGE Code, SAM UEI, and main point of contact of your company. Provide a capability statement to show the ability to meet the requirement. Specify any and all socio-economic to which your business belongs (largebusiness, small business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Section 8(a) etc.) All responses shall be received by Friday, 28 March 2025 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
