- THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. ""We are specifically looking for equipment that is compliant with the Buy American Act."" The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for market research to obtain information regarding the potential availability and capability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Small Business Manufacturers, other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing items requested. This source sought is set-aside for small business and seeks providers capable of fulfilling the requirement in accordance with the Salient Characteristics. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate set-aside and the appropriate acquisition method. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price supply purchase. The SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule Waiver apply s for this requirement. This requirement is set-aside for small business. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, VA Puget Sound VA Healthcare System and American Lake VA Medical Center is conducting market research to identify potential contractor sources which can provide the following supply s: Agent Cashier (TL) Tool Latency - 30 safe for the Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 20, VA Puget Sound VA Healthcare System and American Lake VA Medical Center in accordance with the salient Characteristics. Potential sources having the capabilities necessary to provide the above commodities which meet all the requirements outlined in the attached salient characteristics are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to phillip.folger@va.gov no later than noted in the RFI. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Appropriate responses shall include the following information: Company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; A capability statement addressing the requirements in the attached Salient Characteristics to include: References for similar commodities currently being provided or previously provided (if any) at the required service levels as outlined in the Salient Characteristics. Capability Statement. Capability to provide required supplies at VISN 20 in accordance with the Salient Characteristics. NAICS Code 332999 is applicable to determine business size standard. Salient Characteristics - Agent Cashier Safe When the safes arrive at the facility, One will go to Puget Sound VA Healthcare System Warehouse 90D 1660 S Columbian Way Seattle, WA 98108 1532. And One to American Lake VA Medical Center, Warehouse 21, 9600 Veterans Drive Tacoma, WA 98493. The vendor will work with VAPS facility point of contact TBD to schedule a suitable delivery/installation date and time window. Vendor's team will work with VAPS facility point of contact to ensure approval of safe placement. Vendor's team will protect flooring, doorways, and door thresholds before removal of old safe and installation of new safe. Vendor's team will Dispose of old safe will be at the discretion of Vendor. Once new safe set-in place, vendor will level the safe for proper door swing. Vendor's team will go over operation of the safe as well as use and programming questions for the lock. Vendor's team will remove all package material/garbage (pallet, foam, box, etc.) and old safe from VAPS facility. SPECIFICATIONS: Underwriters Laboratory (UL) rated Tool Latency (TL) - 30 safe.
