- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. This is a formal request for quotation from Procurement as requirement has been assigned to me as a buyer. **Please do not contact the requester regarding the item(s) in this request while we are in the process of bidding to maintain the integrity of this solicitation. Please review the quote and provide your best and final offer for both price and lead-time. Kindly also have the quotation revised to today�s date and address the quote to my attention. Must answer the following questions to bid to this solicitation due to the nature of this order: The technical data for the requested part(s) is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., Sec 2751, et seq.) or the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (Title 50, U.S.C., Chapter 58, Sec. 4801-4852). Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Disseminate in accordance with provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25. 1) Are you a DDTC registered ITAR manufacturer? 2) Do you agree to not release the SLAC-supplied technical data to foreign nationals whether in the United States or abroad as defined in 22 CFR section 120.16 without first obtaining BOTH permission from SLAC and authorization from the DDTC? 3) Are you subject to �statutory debarment� as defined in 22 CFR section 127.7? 4) Are you ineligible to participate under AECA and ITAR prohibitions or restrictions? If the answer is �yes� to both questions 1 and 2 and �no� to questions 3 and 4, SLAC will supply the technical data to you via a password-protected, AES 256-bit encrypted zip file.
