- This is a Sources Sought announcement only. This notice does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. This is a Water Purification follow-on contracting effort. The current contract is scheduled to expire in November 2025. The Government intends to award an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for supply chain management of the Water Purification Systems Initiative (WPS) for the Department of Defense. This approach includes the supply chain management of approximately 672 NSNs. This program is designed to provide supply, storage and distribution for multiple Federal Supply Classes (FSCs) for this program. Attachments: 1. Market Research Questionnaire Interested vendors should complete the attached market research questionnaire and return to the Buyer by the due date, COB Thursday March 27, 2025. 2. Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) A draft PWS is included, see attachment to this synopsis. Your comments on the draft PWS are welcome and should be included with your response. 3. H20 Survey NSN List NSN List, Part/CAGE, and Procurement Item Descriptions (PIDs). Niin List. Please note, the Estimated Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ) is only the Government's best projection at this time and subject to change at any time. Part/Drawing: approved CAGE/Part Number or Drawing. PIDs (Procurement Item Descriptions (PIDs)): The PID is a detailed specification outlining the exact characteristics, requirements, and acceptance criteria of an item that needs to be purchased, essentially acting as a clear and concise description, often including manufacturer details, part numbers, and technical specifications.
