- The Procurement Office,?Prague?provides the following Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for quotation (RFQ) for: The U.S. Embassy in Prague seeks a contractor for the full renovation of the master bathroom at residential property in Prague 6-Nebusice, Czech Republic. The work includes selective demolition, replacement of tiling, plumbing, lighting fixtures, and associated accessories. The project involves the complete renovation of the master bathroom, including selective demolition of existing facilities, replacement of all tiling, plumbing, and lighting fixtures, and installation of associated accessories. The contractor's work shall comply with Czech National Standards or U.S. codes and standards, whichever is more stringent. Only companies specializing in the construction field of work with a valid Czech business license should apply. When responding to this solicitation, the Contractor must certify that: they are in compliance in all respects with all applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws, and agree that such certification is material to the government�s payment decisions for purposes of section 31 USC 3729(b)(4) (False Claims Act); and they do not operate any programs promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion that violate any applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws. The contractor shall: Provide all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, tools, and supervision to complete the services as per the technical requirements. The work shall be executed diligently in accordance with a negotiated firm fixed price and performance period. The period of performance for all phases of the project shall be completed within 15 days from the contract award. The contractor shall prepare and submit reports, bill of materials, product literature, drawings, specifications, quality control schedules, safety plan, and construction costs. The contractor shall not conduct any work beyond the Statement of Work (SOW) and accompanying specifications unless directed in writing by the Contracting Officer (CO). No work shall begin until the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued by the CO. The CO may designate more than one individual as the Contracting Officer's The contractor shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and coordination of all services furnished under this contract. The contractor shall identify a Project Site Manager responsible for overall project management and provide as-built construction documents and warranty documentation. The contractor shall examine all documents and visit the site on the site-inspection day scheduled on March 19, 12:30 (mandatory part of participation in this solicitation) to fully inform themselves of all conditions and limitations applied to the work. The contractor shall commence work under this contract promptly, execute the work diligently, and achieve final completion and acceptance including final cleanup of the premises within the period specified. Milestones include a Pre-Proposal Site Visit, Award of Contract & Notice to Proceed, Pre-Construction Submittals within 10 days of NTP, Embassy Submittal Review within 5 days, Construction Begins within 5 days of NTP, and Construction Completed within 15 days. The work to be performed under this contract requires that the contractor, its employees, and sub-contractors submit corporate, financial, and personnel information for review by the Embassy. The contractor shall provide a fixed priced lump sum proposal ( with and without VAT), including the specification of materials and bathroom products based on the table attached in Annex 2 - Specifications. In applying for the solicitation material, you are acknowledging that your company can reach compliance with the following highlighted requirements included in the solicitation.? In accordance with?DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), it will be necessary for your organization to possess authorization to operate and do business in the country in which this contract will be performed. Therefore, authorization shall include the requirement to be registered to do business in Czech Republic.? You will be required to provide information that clearly shows you are able to perform work in Prague.? Contract award can only be made to a contractor who is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).?System for Award Management: https://sam.gov?.The failure to provide the above documentation when submitting your proposal may result in your proposal being found technically unacceptable and removed from the competition without further discussions.?
