- The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Orlando, FL, that will be expiring. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease approximately 4,622 RSF clinical space in Orlando, Florida for use by VA personnel, furnishings, and equipment for the Orlando Vet Center Offered space can be on no more than one floor. On-site parking for 10 vehicles required, of which at least 2 spaces must be ADA compliant. A full-service lease up to 20 Years will be considered. Proposed Property shall not be located within the 100-year flood plain. To be considered, space must be in Proximity to amenities and building support services such as public transportation within or bordering/facing the delineated area as follows: North Boundary: State Road 438/426/University Blvd. South Boundary: State Road 482 East Boundary: State Road 436 West Boundary: State Road 423/John Young Parkway A market survey of offered properties will be conducted by VA staff. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should submit site-specific information concerning their properties to Brittany Rodriguez by e-mail only no later than 2:00 PM on March 24, 2025, at the following: Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 Attention: Brittany Rodriguez, Lease Contract Specialist E-mail: Brittany.Rodriguez7@va.gov Expressions of interest must contain the following information: · Building name and/or address and location of the available lease space. · Number of spaces to be offered for parking space, fully serviced. · Indicate whether the quoted rental rate includes an amount for tenant improvements and state the amount, if any. · Date of space availability · Building ownership information and authorization from the owner to offer the property if applicable · Energy efficiency and renewable energy features existing within the proposed building · List of services provided (Utilities, janitorial, pest control, security monitoring, etc.). The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space.
