Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10. This notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) LOG-94 Alameda, CA to identify sources capable of providing hurricane repair damage for Regional Dive Locker East (RDLE) Gold Trailer. A solicitation will be issued shortly and will be synopsized on the Federal government�s website at https://beta.sam.gov. It is the potential offer's responsibility to monitor this avenue for release of any future solicitation or synopsis. The contractor shall furnish all labor and supplies to remove and replace tandem axle trailer drums and brakes and service to correct levels. Remove and replace battery cables, solar charging system, battery isolating diode, auto reset circuit breaker, install two AGM- 24 batteries and wire back to factory standard under the forward counter. Remove and replace tongue jack. Rewire trailer lighting, braking and charging system as required, remove and replace inoperable lower left red marker light, license plate light and right/left stop/turn/brake lights. Clean, remove and replace fuel probe and reinstall (removed during assessment) fuel tank. Reattach broken sidewall stiffeners between tires via welding. Remove and replace diesel generator, fuel pump and remote start control panel. The Contractor will replace 8-lug Inner/outer bearings, seal (10-36), cap and plug four 12"" drums, four 12"" electric standard brakes, 32 solid stainless steel lugnuts. The Contactor with replace two group 24 AGM batteries. The Contractor with replace with 8000 series Onan/Cummins generator (exact cross) with remote control panel kit and shipping freight charge. The Contractor will fix 7-pin harness, 7-pin plug, battery wire and lugs, emergency brake-away kit, red marker light, license plate light, two stop/turn/brake rear taillights, battery isolating diode pack, fuel probe, 120v standard electrical outlet, solar charging system, 50amp Shore power exterior outlet, circuit breaker. The Contractor will complete the repair needing Aluminum angle 3/4""x1 1/2""x1/16"" trim for the Floor deck drain. The Contractor will replace Electric tongue jack 4k. The Contractor will replace the Tires with ST235/80R16 TL 12 127/122M, mount and dispose of the old tires. The Contractor is going to need these supplies to complete the work Welding supplies, cutting/sanding discs, cleaning solvent, cleaning wipes, electrical terminals, diesel fuel 10gallons, hose clamps, 15W-40 diesel engine oil, 25 amp blade fuses. Licenses/Permits: All required licenses and/or permits required must be identified with the response to the Sources Sought along with any pertinent information. The applicable NAICS Code is 811114 (Specialized Automotive Repair).
