Questions and Answers to Underground Storage Tank (UST) Testing What is the location/address of the tanks?� 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton VA 23667 � Facility name? Hampton VA Medical Center � Tank contents (please be specific)? 12,000 gal, ultra low sulfur dyed diesel 2,200, gal, unleaded gasoline � Tank Size including Height and Diameter? 12,000 gal, Approximately 85 High, No Diameter Information Available, composite tank (fiberglass reinforced steel) 2,200, gal, Approximately 75 High, No Diameter Information Available, fiberglass tank � How many tanks are needing inspected? Multiple tanks help offset the mobilization costs because if there were multiple tanks it would dramatically reduce the initial mobilization cost. 2 (two) underground storage tanks. � What is the size of the manway on the top of the tanks? Please see attached pictures. � In what time frame are you wanting the tanks to be inspected? Please see Period of performance table in the Statement of work Section. � Are you wanting the SP001/API-653 internal and/or external portion of the tank inspected? The VAMC is seeking annual inspection and testing as outlined in 9VAC25-580-130, and triennial inspection and testing as outline in 9VAC25-580-82 and shall include all inspections and tests as required for compliance. If regulations change during this contract, it is the vendors responsibility to inform the VAMC of these changes and perform any additional inspections and tests as might be required by the new regulations. � Do you have any Previous inspection reports of the tanks? Yes, Available upon award of contract. � Can you provide us with Images of the tank, its access points, along with surrounding areas that we have to work with around the tanks? � Please see attached pictures. Are blueprints of the tanks available? The blueprints will allow us to determine any obstacles and obstructions that may limit our ROV from performing the inspection. The blueprints are also used in helping determine the overall cost of the project. � No tank blueprints are available.
