- Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to solicit a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the M250 Smoke Grenade Launcher (NSN: 1055-00-000-0138, PN: 13-12-122). The anticipated quantity is 108 each. The M250 Smoke Grenade Launcher Armament Subsystem contains 1ea-Discharge Units, LH, NSN: 1040-99-965-8028, P/N: 13-12-34; 1ea-Discharge Units, RH, NSN: 1040-99-965-8029, P/N: 13-12-35; 1ea-Cover, LH, NSN: 1040-01-042-3861, P/N: 13-12-39; and 1ea-Cover, RH, NSN: 1040-01-043-7896, P/N: 13-12-38. The Technical Data Package (TDP) will be available after the solicitation is released. The TDP is EXPORT CONTROLLED, Distribution D.Joint Certification Program (EXPORT CONTROL):You must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (https://SAM.gov) and certified under the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) (https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/) to be granted access to the technical data package (TDP) for this solicitation.For technical assistance in doing business with the Government, and doing business electronically, please visit the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) website at http://www.aptac-us.org/ to locate a regional center.The solicitation pertaining to this notice will not be available for a minimum of 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. Contractors should not call the buyer or procuring contracting officer (PCO) seeking a copy of the solicitation (or other data) as none will be available until the solicitation is issued. Release of an official solicitation is anticipated to occur on or about 30 March 2025. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102; therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://piee.eb.mil.CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.This pre-solicitation synopsis notice, otherwise known as a synopsis, is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP).
