- Description
- The Department of State is conducting market research and seeking vendor information to determine the capabilities of experienced travel management services companies (TMC) in providing travel agent services to Department of State offices, employees, their eligible family members (EFMs), locally employed staff, and invitational travelers of the Department of State and travelers of other tenant agencies located in U.S. Embassies and Missions globally. The Department intends to award a TMC services task order under the ETSNext refresh of GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Travel Agent Services contracts. This request for information (RFI) is targeted specifically at that vendor pool, and responses will be utilized for information and research purposes for the Department's Global TMC requirement. The Department intends to expand TMC services beyond those currently serviced under ETS2. The Embassies added to the future Global TMC service requirement could include any of the countries with a diplomatic presence listed in the attached DOS Embassies Not Currently Serviced Under the ETS2 Contract attachment. The NAICS code for these services is 561510. Goals of the RFI The purpose of this RFI is to: Gather insights on available travel services. Identify potential vendors for future travel management services, with emphasis on global capabilities. Collect relevant information about the capabilities of Travel Management Companies. Specific Requirements Vendors must specifically address the capabilities listed in the attached Global TMC Capabilities Questionnaire document. RFI Submission Process It is requested that all interested parties submit their capabilities and supporting documentation by e-mail to contracting officer, Travis Keon, at keontc@state.gov, no later than 11:00am EDT, March 21, 2025. Interested parties are advised to closely review all attached documents and review all tabs and applicable information listed in the attached spreadsheets. Specific instructions are provided on the first tab of the Global TMC Capabilities Questionnaire document. Interested parties are to also complete the TMC Information Tab which is part of the Capabilities Questionnaire, and list any applicable socio-economic small business designations, and provide any required supplemental information with their response. Interested parties should identify challenges and risks associated with servicing the Department of State under the GSA Multiple Award Schedule Statement of Work and how the organization would minimize those risks. At this time, the U.S. Department of State does not guarantee that any future contracts/task orders may be awarded regarding the aforementioned requirements and responses to this Sources Sought/RFI notice and request, and therefore, does not bind the U.S. Department of State to any agreement with the responder, be it explicit or implied.
