Description
The AFDW/PK Contracting Directorate will be hosting an Industry/Demonstration Day event Tuesday March 25, 2025 and Wednesday March 26, 2025 at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC. This event is open to all businesses and is free to attend, Small Businesses are encouraged to participate. The event will begin promptly at 0900 and will include the following: - AFDW/PK and HAF/A2-6 requirement briefing to discuss the Policy, Guidance, and Publically Available Information (PAI) Alerting Services requirement. 30 slots are available for the requirement briefing. No more than 2 vendor representatives per registration. - Allow one-on-one presentations. 10 slots are available for the one-on-one presentations. No more than 2 vendor representatives per registration. - Requirement briefing and one-on-one presentation slots are available on a first come first serve basis. Interested parties must specifiy which portion of the Industry/Demonstration day they are registering for. Time slots will be provided after registration. This event will be hosted at: JBAB Bolling Event Center, Tuskegee Room 50 Theisen St Washington, DC 20032 Base access is required. All guest 18 and over are required to have a state or federally issued photo ID. Parties interested in attending this event must send an email to the POC's listed in this notice by 2pm EST Friday 14 March 2025. Interested parties must state in their email whether base sponsorship is needed and what portion of the Industry/Demonstration day they are interested in registering for; the general requirement briefing, one-on-one presentations, or both. One-on-one session Rules of Engagement 1. Only serious parties who can meet the intent of the attached SOO may register for one-on-one sessions. The intent for the one-on-one sessions is to demonstrate the vendors PAI alerting tools. 2. One-on-one sessions are only for vendors to demonstrate their PAI alerting tool. One-on-one sessions for any other reasons will not be entertained. 3. Individual Session Time: 50 minutes maximum. 4. Vendors who participate in the one-on-one sessions shall submit a company background paper with their name, CAGE/UEI number, socioeconomic status, and any existing contract vehicles they are a part of (i.e. GSA OASIS+, NASA SEWP, etc.). 5. Vendors may choose any medium it desires to showcase their PAI capabilities, i.e. PowerPoint, live demonstration, video, etc. The vendor is responsible for bringing their own laptop to connect to the monitors at the event. Vendors may also email materials to the POC's listed on this notice. 6. No more than two (2) presenters per company/session. No exceptions. 7. The 50 minute session will consist of the Company demonstrating their current PAI capabilities as well as describing their company�s capabilities. Companies may ask questions to the panel regarding the PAI (if time permits). 8. The Government will retain all presentation materials received from Industry/Demonstration Day. 9. The Government will not reimburse any vendor for their participation in the Industry/Demonstration Day. 10. The venue provides a large screen TV with standard HDMI hookups and Wi-Fi service. While venue has Wi-Fi service, location occasionally has connectivity issues. Presenters are advised to prepare accordingly. Background The purpose of this requirement is to provide The Department of Defense (DoD) a solution to evaluate publicly available information in real time, in order to provide increased situational awareness and Indications and Warning to Combatant Commands and Military Services on global events. The solution should leverage a variety of publicly available sources, evaluate content to detect emerging events and threats as they are developing, and push alerts to users based on user-defined areas and topics of interest, such as threats to US Forces (i.e., Force Protection, terrorist events, etc.) and event geolocation, both in CONUS and OCONUS. The solution must be capable of distributing alerts in near real-time via email, web-based applications, and mobile platforms. This contract will provide commercially available alerting service to provide timely alerts for force protection, situational awareness, tipping and cueing, and indications and warnings for operational forces.
