- Description
- Installation of CCTV system at USG property located in Nassau, The Bahamas. The installation will include the installation of equipment and any electrical work required. SCOPE OF WORK Supplying labor and material for installing CCTV equipment to view all perimeter of the property. All cameras should be position pointing away from any living space. This will include the pool, patio and any common occupant area. The system should be focus on the perimeter only. All cameras should be terminated and viewed at the south security booth. The system should be completely disconnected from any off-property network and should allow Absolutely no off property viewing. This requirement is during and after installation. Vendor is responsible for any electrical, masonry and carpentry needs require to complete scope of work. This will include poles, trenching and brackets. Fiber wiring should be used on all camera feeds over 50ft. Power for all cameras should be installed near the hub in a secure location with lock access. A minimum of 50� Monitor is required for main viewing. A minimum of 32� Monitor is required for spot viewing. All PTZ cameras should have auto patrol capabilities and manual control from the security booth. NVR programming should incorporate triggers which alert personnel, with and output siren/light mounted in security booth, off activities at any camera. Illuminators should be used to assist and enhance nighttime viewing. System should be able to maintain 21 day of recording before rewriting. Main hub and NVR should be locked in a cabinet/chassis to prevent unauthorized tampering. Any structural adjustments must be cleared by the RSC before proceeding. Any work not completed to the satisfaction of the RSC will be repaired or replaced by the company without additional expense, in equipment or labor costs, to the US Government. The company�s employees will clean up after themselves after every job. This includes removing any equipment and materials brought in by the company, and anything debris caused by installation. ELECTRICAL GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS The contractor shall supply all materials and labor in order to complete the scope of works. All measurements are to be confirmed by the contractor on site. All work shall be carried out in a professional manner, with superior craftsmanship. The contractor is responsible to rectify any damage caused while executing the project upon completion of the works. All walls are to be repaired after installation of subsurface equipment. All work should meet or exceed the local codes The contractor shall ensure that all electrical enclosures or panels are housed in outdoor rated enclosures that meet or exceed NEMA 3R ratings. All electrical cables should be installed into appropriately sized non-metallic liquid-tight conduit. All electrical conduit should be buried to the appropriate depth based on code requirements. The use of direct burial cable is prohibited. The contractor shall use non-metallic wall boxes as a replacement for existing electrical wall boxes. The contractor is to ensure that all boxes are grounded as per code. Where grounding is not provided contractor is to install as necessary. The contractor shall ensure that all TV cable (RG6) or fiber lines are labeled and terminated at both ends. The contractor shall ensure that all underground electrical ducts terminate at each end with a pull/splice box. The contractor is responsible to dispose of all materials removed from the house. The electrical contractor will coordinate his work with the overall progress of the project, to avoid miscommunications and rework. Electrical contractors will provide regular progress updates to the Embassy staff electrician. The overall project manager will be the Facilities Manager, or the Maintenance Supervisor in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
