Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested offerors that can provide Cellulose Nitrate Camphor (CNC) in accordance with MIL-B-10854. CNC is used for the MK140, MK141 and MK144 Smoke, Signal, Illumination and Marine Markers (SSIM�s). A Request for Quote (RFQ) will follow the closing of this RFI. A draft Purchase Description (PD) for the expected requirement can be found at Attachment 0001 � Purchase Description Cellulose Nitrate Camphor. The corresponding MILSPEC can be found at Attachment 0002 � MIL-B-10854. Interested offerors shall complete Attachment 0003 - RFI Questionnaire and submit by the closing date, 1300 CST on 05MAR2025. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325199. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) databased at time of response to this RFI.
