- Description
- The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to award a firm fixed price bridge contract on a sole source basis to the incumbent contractor Chenega Tri-Services, LLC. 5253 Prue Road Suite 230, San Antonio, TX 78240 utilizing the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204 (c)(1). This requirement will provide Fee Basis Providers (FBP) services to the United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) to medically qualify applicants for military service. The USMEPCOM screens and processes enlisted recruits into the United States Armed Forces at 65 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) and one remote processing station. The FBP services to MEPCOM consist of medical prescreening and examinations in accordance with DoD accession medical standards DHA PM 6025.13 vol 4 and US MEPCOM Regulations 40-1 Medical Qualification Program and 40-2 Medical Services Provider Quality Management Program. The FBPs must be a qualified medical doctor, Doctor of Osteopathy, Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner, with expert knowledge in the medical qualification requirements stated in DHA PM 6025.13 vol 4 and US MEPCOM Regulations 40-1 Medical Qualification Program and 40-2 Medical Services Provider Quality Management Program. The Fee Basis Provider Defined Provider Category level 4 physician must be privileged/approved by the USMEPCOM Command Surgeon/J7/Medical Director. There are approximately 120 physicians, 76 physician assistants and 7 nurse practitioners who are part time that support the MEPCOM. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111 Office of Physicians (Except Mental Health Specialists). The anticipated period of performance is 18 April 2025 through 17 December 2025 and a four month option (18 December 2025 through 17 April 2026). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A solicitation will not be published. However, all responses received within seven (7) calendar days of this posting will be considered by the government. The Contracting Officer is David D.
