Description
Historic Resource Study, National Park Service - ULSG The purpose of this amendment (0001) is to provide questions and answers asked thus far. Q1: For the PI and Project Historians, does a Masters in Historic Preservation count or only Public History or US History? A1: A MA in Historic Preservation is acceptable for the Principal Investigator and/or Project Historian. Q2: Would in-person meetings be required for government-to-government consultation? If so, would lodging, travel arrangements, meeting space, and other expenses for said meeting(s) be the responsibility of the contractor/award recipient? A2: Virtual meetings with NPS personnel are acceptable but in reference to Tribal Consultation, it is at the discretion of the Tribes. Any/all travel, lodging, meeting space, other related expenses are the responsibility of the contractor and shall be included in your quote. If an award is made, it will be made as a Firm Fixed Price award. Q3: Is there a budget for this project? A3: There is an approved budget for this, however, that and the independent government estimate is for internal use only. Q4: The SOW states, the PI and PH each must have at minimum, A Master of Arts degree in United States History or Public History. Our historian has a Master of Arts in History. Will the difference in qualification disqualify us as candidates for this project, or can we apply and still be considered? A4: An MA in History is acceptable for the Principal Investigator and/or Project Historian. Reminder to monitor the solicitation posting for any amendments posted during the solicitation period. All amendments must be acknowledged by the quote due date and time. Contact james_bissaillon@nps.gov for any questions.
