- Description
- The USAF is looking to establish a five-year contract for the repair of the Advanced Control Tester II (ACT). The ACT is an Engine Download Device that is needed for the testing of the Digital Electronic Engine Control (DEEC), Version 6 of the Pratt and Whitney F100-220/220/229 engine, which is used on the F-15/F-16 weapon system. The ACT has previously been determined to be commercial as it is similar to systems sold to commercial customers. This acquisition is to repair the ACT. These services include teardown, evaluation, and uniquely negotiated repairs. USAF does not possess technical data to repair, but Collins Aerospace is willing to license necessary data. NO HARD COPIES OF RFP WILL BE PROVIDED. All vendors are required to register. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. USAF anticipates using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act.
