- Description
- Questions asked by vendor: 1. Will 2.4MHz ISM band be considered over 900MHz? 2. Is there a floorplan that shows the areas to be monitored? 3. What's the coldest temperature necessary? 4. During installation, how will access to controlled areas (pharmacy, OR suites, etc) be managed? 5. Is unlimited online tech support and training just for the base year? 6. In regards to ""Contractor shall provide Monthly reports to the assigned COR summarizing the appropriateness of the use of the system by facility personnel."" is the criteria set for this, or will this be sending a report showing the temperature control for all monitored zones and its ability to control to set point? 7. For solid simulator probes in fridges / freezers, is glycol buffered sensors an acceptable alternative? 8. Can the VA provide a detailed list of temperature ranges needed and quantity? 9. Are the Open/Close Contact Transmitters tied to zones that are being monitored for temperature or stand-alone? 10. Can you confirm that the gateways using an LTE connection back to the portal is acceptable (versus a VA wired network connection)? Answers from VA: 1. 2.4MHZ cannot be utilized 2. Access to floor plans will be provided once proposals received and an award is made. Awardee will receive access to VLOGIC floorplan database. 3. Ultra-low is expected to be -80C but would like to confirm if LN2 tanks are being monitored. LN2 takes are not being currently monitored. 4. Escorted into secure spaces by VA staff. 5. Support will be needed throughout the life of the system (base year and options). 6. It will be the sending of a report showing the temperature control for all monitored zones. 7. Yes 8. This was to be determined by each vendor as part of the scheduled walkthrough. 9. Stand alone 10. Gateway can be utilized as long as the system is FiPS compliant. ______________________________
