Description
Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with B2H Consulting Group LLC for ACIST CVi Standard Contrast Dye Injector. B2H Consulting Group LLC is the only vendor authorized to sell ACIST products to the Department of Veterans Affairs per the exclusive authorized distributor agreement between the two companies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The ACIST CVi contrast dye injector is already in use and staff is trained in its operation. This request is for end of life cycle replacement. No other contrast injectors are compatible to shoot coronary angiograms in the facility. Other contrast injectors are available for left ventricle injections and CT scans. The ACIST is the only injector that shoots coronary angiograms, which is a totally different procedure. Additionally, the FFR component uses a microcatheter technology that has specific use in chronic total occlusion cases in the lab. The Acist uses disposable parts that the facility already has on contract and meets infection control guidelines. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-1(b), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112 with a business size standard of 1,000 employees. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM (Central) January 16, 2024. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contract Specialist, John Roskowski, peter.roskowski@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
