- Description
- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Mexico City will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov website when it is available. The U.S. Embassy Mexico City has a requirement for gym equipment in Mexico City, Mexico. Delivery shall be in either: The US Embassy Mexico City (if you are a MX local vendor); or in the USLC-Brownsville Texas (if you are a US domestic vendor). The delivery date shall be no later than April 30, 2025. The selected offeror will be fully responsible for delivery service of the gym equipment as described in the RFQ document that will be published on SAM.gov; including obtaining any local government permits and licenses if needed, taking into consideration quality standards that will be mentioned in the RFQ document. Offerors will be responsible for presenting an offer that considers elements listed below, and, if a discrepancy is identified, the offeror will be responsible to flag it on in the quotation. Offeror shall provide complete information of the items being quoted in conformance with the requirements stated in the scope of work, such as descriptive literature, owner�s manual, maintenance procedures, technical datasheets, as applicable. Items shall comply with the minimum quality standards of the industry and any other quality standards as stated in the scope of work. Items shall include minimum warranty standards as stated in the industry and any other warranties as required in the scope of work. All offerors that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their quotation: Be able to understand written and spoken English; Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing; Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work; Have all licenses and permits required by local law; Meet all local insurance requirements; Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution; Have no adverse criminal record; Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States; Have good experience and past performance records; Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the required service in accordance with this request. Prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7, all offerors are to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database, at: https://www.sam.gov. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://sam.gov/content/entity-landing This opportunity will allow electronic responses for quotation submission via email. Further details will be provided in the Solicitation once launched.
