Description
155mm Munition Acceleration and Expansion Industry Day The Army Contracting Command � New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Project Management Office � Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS), will host an Industry Day event on 20-21 March 2025. The purpose of the event is to provide an update to technical requirements and program planning on 155mm Munition acceleration and expansion, including 155mm Projectile Load/Assemble/Pack (LAP), Metal Parts, Fuzes, Propellants, Primers, and associated materials. All information presented at the event will not be export controlled and will be Distribution A. The general session will be held on 20 March 2025 (Location-To Be Determined) from 0900 to 1200 (The estimated time for the general session may be subject to change based on the number of presenters). PM CAS will coordinate the scheduling of all One-on-One sessions, which will take place from 1300-1700 (Location-To Be Determined) on 20 March 2025 and 0800-1700 on 21 March 2025. The Industry Day will inform the industrial base on the status of 155mm Munition expansion and potential new U.S. Army requirements to expand production and accelerate delivery of 155mm Projectiles and ancillary equipment. The areas of interest for the Industry Day may include, but is not limited to, the following: Current Status of US 155mm production capacity increase Artillery Propellant Charge System Acceleration and Capacity Increases Explosives, and Raw Material Industrial Base Investments 155mm LAP, Metal Parts Rocket Grain and Base Bleeds Artillery M82 Primers and Artillery Fuzes (All Types) Innovation at the Round: Extended Range Cargo (projectile and cargo requirements), Cluster Munitions Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) Modernization Armament Retooling and Manufacturing Support (ARMS) Tenants Agreements Public/Private Partnership Arrangements Opportunities in NATO Government Technical Data Packages (TDPs) will NOT be released within this Special Notice. If the USG pursues the requirements discussed at the Industry Day, Government TDPs may be released in separate Sources Sought Notices for each effort contemplated. All contractors interested in future solicitations must be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for an award. Each Business/Organization in attendance will also have the opportunity to request to meet with the Government in planned One-on-One sessions. Each One-on-One session will last no more than thirty (30) minutes to request clarification on information presented during the course of the Industry Day. These sessions may also be used for company proprietary capability briefs relevant to different 155mm production solutions, short-term solutions, and Innovations in Propellants and Energetics. The USG reserves the right to reduce the allotted time for the One-on-One session based on the number of interested companies. Additionally, based on the number of interested companies, the USG may schedule One-on-One through video conference at a later date. Businesses/Organizations interested in attending a One-on-One session must contact the ACC-NJ point of contact listed below no later than 14 February 2025 with their intentions. Those who have expressed a desire to have a One-on-One session will be provided with the time and location for their respective One-on-One meeting before the Industry Day is held. Further instructions for these One-on-One sessions will be given during the introduction of Industry Day. Businesses/Organizations interested in sending representatives to the Industry Day and participating in the One-on-One sessions shall notify BOTH ACC-NJ points of contact listed below via electronic mail (e-mail) ONLY, no later 5:00pm on 14 February 2025 with the following information: Company Name, Address, Cage Code, Name(s) of Individual(s) attending, Country of Citizenship, Telephone Numbers and E-mail Addresses. Each business/organization is limited to a maximum of four representatives. REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN VISITORS: Once a location is finalized for the event, this announcement will be amended to include all instructions and associated documentation requirements for foreign visitors. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This Industry Day is for informational and planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a Request for Proposal or White Papers. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with attending this event or any follow-up information requests. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research.
