Description
The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is hosting a Virtual Small Business Roundtable on 2/4/2025 from 2:00:00 PM-4:00:00 PM Eastern. Government participants will be the Program Executive Officer Fixed Wing, Director of Procurement, and Director of the Office of Small Business Programs. This session will be hosted virtually. Connection details will be provided upon selection to attend. This event is open for Small Businesses only. Program Executive Office for Fixed Wing (PEO-FW), relentlessly develops and delivers Special Operations (SO)-peculiar manned and unmanned fixed-wing solutions to effectively enable airpower capabilities for Special Operations Forces (SOF). PEO-FW collaborates with SOF end-users, Research & Development activities, Academia, and Industry Partners to synchronize acquisition efforts resulting in the development, testing, procurement, and fielding of an array of capabilities. These acquisition efforts include advanced technology sensors, weapon systems, defensive countermeasures, advanced avionics, and mission-training systems. USSOCOMs manned and unmanned fixed-wing aircraft provide the backbone for SOF airborne capabilities such as aerial refueling support, airborne precision engagement, and aerial intelligence, surveillance, & reconnaissance (ISR). They provide SOF with the global ability to infiltrate, exfiltrate, and resupply in hostile denied environments leveraging air assets such as the MC-130J Talon III and CV-22 Osprey. PEO-FW portfolio also includes the AC-130J Ghostrider, and the upcoming OA-1K Skyraider II providing critical precision engagement and close-air support using both service-common weapons and SO-peculiar Stand-off Precision Guided Munitions to engage a variety of targets. The final component of the PEO-FW portfolio is the Airborne ISR systems, which includes the U-28A aircraft, JAVAMAN, MC-12 Liberty, MQ-1C, and MQ-9. These manned and unmanned systems deliver real-time Global ISR support to Combatant Commanders. The high operational tempo of these aircraft requires innovative means to incorporate capability and sustainment improvements while ensuring necessary aircraft availability. Intent of these meetings: The PEO roundtables are intended to be an opportunity for firms to gain a general overview of the PEO. These roundtables are not meant to be an opportunity for firms to present their capabilities to USSOCOM, or to receive a forecast of upcoming requirements. USSOCOM would like to have participation from all socio-economic categories and a variety of industries. Space is limited to 100 individuals; therefore, participation is restricted to one connection per small business. Therefore, each firm shall only submit one request for one individual to attend. Please note that multiple people from the same firm may participate, as long as it is from the same connection (ex. Multiple people gather in a conference room and participate using the conference room computer.) Requesting multiple slots may result in no participants from the firm being selected to participate. Expected of attendees: We are actively soliciting your comments/feedback. Please be willing and prepared to engage/discuss. When discussing barriers or ways to do business easier, please provide examples of issues and possible solutions. TO REQUEST AN INVITATION: If interested in participating, please fill out all of the information at the following link: https://www.socom.mil/SOF-ATL/Pages/Small-Business-Roundtable-Invitation-Request.aspx Even if you requested an invitation to a previous roundtable but were not selected to attend, you must respond to this notice in order to be considered for this roundtable. The criteria considered when selecting attendees (in no particular order and not listed in order of importance) - Socioeconomic status (we would like representation from each socioeconomic category (SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, VOSB, and SDVOSB) - Products and/or services provided (we lean more towards firms that provide what we buy, but want a variety of industries represented) - Experience with USSOCOM (we would like a mix of experienced and inexperienced firms) - The last time your firm has attended a SB Roundtable (we want to afford all firms an opportunity to attend a roundtable) - When your request to attend was received; and - Where your firm is located (we would like a mix of local and non-local firms). Responses are due by 8:00:00 AM local time on 1/13/2025. Invitations for those selected to attend will be sent out no later than close of business on 1/20/2025. You may still submit a response after the due date. However, late submissions will be accommodated on a space available basis. If not selected for this event, or if your response is received after the due date, your contact information will be added to the list of companies interested in attending future events.
