- Description
- The National Aeronautics and Space Administrations (NASA) Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) has a requirement for contractor services to support the current Logistics Contract. These services include Project Management, Supply Management, Furniture Operations, Moving and Hauling Services, Bicycle Program and Maintenance, Equipment Management, Redistribution and Utilization, Packing and Shipping Services, Receiving and Inspection Services, Vehicle and Fleet Management, Export Control Support Services, and Special Support Services. NASA/JSC intends to increase the maximum Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity ordering limit for the Logistics Contract by $7,700,000 to support the completion of the contract period through February 28, 2026. These requirements are currently being procured through TechTrans International as they are still within the contracted Period of Performance. This increase is being done per FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) as the award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencies requirements. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes, and there is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals, and the submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred nor will the respondents be notified of the results of the evaluation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in a Governmentwide point of entry (GPE), and the Government reserves the right to restrict the procurement to small businesses. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor GPE sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. The Government does not intend to acquire commercial services using FAR Part 12. Interested companies may submit their capabilities and qualifications statement to perform the effort via email to the Contracting Officer at jon.prihoda@nasa.gov, no later than 3:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) on January 2, 2025. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue for past three (3) years and number of employees; ownership; whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned; number of years in business; affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); list of customers covering the past five years (highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of contact (address and phone number). All responses, including capability statements, are not to exceed three (3) pages in length. Any pages exceeding this threshold will be discarded and will not be evaluated. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All respondents may submit a capabilities statement that shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html.
