Description
The purpose of this industry day is to provide industry background of three new upcoming requirements to support MCC Infrastructure Practice Group. MCC intends to hold an information session with the public. The purpose of the information session is for MCC to share the type of support and personnel that will be needed for the following procurements as well as to provide context and background on the Compact(s). The information session will be held via Microsoft TEAMS and is expected to last 45 minutes. Please note that participants will not be able to ask questions during this time. If you would like to register, please email Terri Tutt Daniel, Contracting Officer at tuttt@mcc.gov with your name, organization and business size no later than 6pm December 17, 2024 eastern time. 1) MCC requires a contractor to provide road transportation infrastructure and services. This includes transport infrastructure of urban and rural roadways, bridges, pavement, cross border facilities, as well as urban and public transportation, including multi-modal transport. Associated services include policy, institutional and regulatory reforms, institutional strengthening, maintenance road funds, decarbonization and infrastructure for electric vehicles. These services include a wide range of technical assistance tasks to support MCC�s program objectives during the Threshold and Compact Development process, from origination of projects to address the alleviation of identified constraints to completion of preconstruction work. Services to be provided under this contract are intended for the period from country eligibility up to Compact�s Entry-into-Force but may continue up to finalization of detailed design and construction bidding documents. Please note that IPG will use two separate DD consultants if a single country has transport and vertical structures as the expertise is different. 2) MCC requires needs a contractor to support the Infrastructure Practice Group (IPG) in the areas of surface transportation and vertical structures. Transportation infrastructure may include ports, airports, railroads, and pipelines. Vertical structures (e.g., buildings and facilities) infrastructure may include school buildings, hospitals, and logistics facilities. These services will include a wide range of technical assistance tasks to support MCC�s program objectives during the Threshold and Compact Development process, from origination of projects to address the alleviation of identified constraints to completion of preconstruction work. Services to be provided under this contract are intended for the period from country eligibility up to Compact�s Entry-into-Force but may continue up to finalization of detailed design and construction bidding documents. Please note that IPG will use two separate DD consultants if a single country has transport and vertical structures as the expertise is different. 3) MCC requires a contractor to provide services related to various infrastructure sectors in support of MCC in the oversight of implementation of The Accelerated Growth Corridors (AGC) Project under the second compact with the Government of Malawi. The primary infrastructure sectors included, but may not be limited to, transportation and small vertical structures (i.e., buildings and facilities). The scope of includes aspects of infrastructure planning and analyses, design and construction management and oversight; integrated project management related to scope, quality, cost, and schedule; and infrastructure policy analysis and institutional reform assessments.
