- Description
- Clarification concerning revised statement of work. We received a preliminary new SOW from the Identiv OEM, and it shows that all of the cameras have been changed out from Hanwha to Vivotek, is this correct, and why the change? The change was made due to the availability and better quality of camera for the same price. Would it be possible to have ""OR EQUAL"" cameras as a solution, so we can still bid out Hanwha cameras? or equal is what the bid document states. Also, is it a requirement to be certified technicians to install the Vivotek cameras and Velocity software? Yes, at least one technician must be Velocity certified at the time of bid. At least one fully certified technician will be on the job site to perform the installation and remain onsite throughout the installation. If so, as long as we are certified at time of install, would that suffice, or do we need to be certified by the time the proposal is submitted? Must be certified at the time of the bid (when submitting the proposal).
