Description
1) This Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for Microplastics Analysis of Water Samples in accordance with the attached solicitation. 2) The synopsis/solicitation number is 140G0225Q0003 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The award for this requirement shall be made using the policies in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, as appropriate for this acquisition. Award shall be made to the vendor whose quote, conforming to this RFQ is determined to be the most advantageous to the government. 4) This solicitation is a SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The associated NAICS Code is 541380 Laboratory Testing Services. 5) A copy of this solicitation may be accessed by clicking ""Attachments/Links"". 6) All requirements for preparation, submission, and receipt of quotes are contained in this solicitation and shall be adhered to. 7) All questions and quote must be emailed to Kekila Keuma at KKeuma@usgs.gov. 8) This solicitation is being amended to extend the solicitation window. BASIS OF AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. The quote with the lowest price will be reviewed first and if that quote is found to be technically unacceptable, the next lowest quote will be reviewed and so on. To be considered technically acceptable, offeror shall provide technical brochures or specifications. These technical brochures or specifications must demonstrate the proposed equipment/services meets or exceeds all of the statement of work. All vendors must quote Authentic Manufacturer certified/warranted products in original, intact manufacturer's packaging, no ""Gray Market"", counterfeit, or resale items shall be considered. SELLERS ATTACHMENT(S): In addition, Sellers MUST include certain information: quote for analysis of water samples and sediment samples broken down by year, quotes for water and sediment samples shall be on individual line items and separated by year. Failure to submit this info may be considered as non-responsive. SAMS REQUIREMENT: Offeror must be registered in SAM under 541380 NAICS Code at time of award. If the offeror is not registered in SAM, it may do so through SAM website at sam.gov.
