INDUSTRY DAY FOR: RIO DE LA PLATA FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT, NORTH COAST SUPER AQUEDUCT, DORADO AND TOA BAJA, PUERTO RICO NOTICE ID: W51DQV-25-R-0005 CONTRACT SPECIALIST NAME & CONTACT INFORMATION: Samuela Adams, samuela.y.adams@usace.army.mil DESCRIPTION: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Caribbean District, is hosting an Industry Day for the upcoming solicitation for Rio de La Plata Flood Control Project, North Coast Super-Aqueduct Relocation, Dorado and Toa Baja, Puerto Rico; This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract shall be awarded from this notice. LOGISTICS DATE: 4 December 2024 LOCATION: Centro de Emprendimiento | San Juan 159 Calle Carlos F Chardon, San Juan, 00918, Puerto Rico TIME (Schedule): Registration on-site: 8:00 am, AST Seminar and Q&A Session: 8:30 am � 10:30 am, AST Individual Capability Briefings from Potential Solicitors (30-minute time slots): 10:30 am � 12:00 pm, AST EVENT DETAILS Seminar An informative presentation will be provided with detailed information for the upcoming solicitation for Rio de La Plata Flood Control Project, North Coast Super-Aqueduct Relocation, Dorado and Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. The focus will be on scope of work, design information, construction considerations, acquisition timeline, and contracting requirements. Capability Briefings Potential solicitors will have an opportunity to provide Capability Briefings to USACE representatives. Capability Briefings will be limited to 30-minute slots. Reservations are required, and slots will be available on First Come, First Served basis. All time slots are only available for Prime Contractors. Capability Briefings will be provided in-person only. Presentation along with sign-in sheet will be posted after industry day. INSTRUCTIONS TO PARTICIPANTS RSVP to Samuela Adams, samuela.y.adams@usace.army.mil, no later than (NLT) December 2, 2024 at 5:00 pm, AST. To ensure RSVP is identified, email subject line should read as: RSVP � RDLP North Coast Super Aqueduct In your email, please include the following information: Firm�s name Name and title of those individuals participating. Contact number and e-mail address. Specify type of business, Small Business Category (if any), UEI Information and if you would like to participate as a Prime or Subcontractor. Specify if your company would like to provide Capability Briefings to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Rio de La Plata Flood Control Project, North Coast Super-Aqueduct Relocation, Dorado and Toa Baja, Puerto Rico REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Questions: The Government will address questions the day of and after the event. Attendees will be given the opportunity to submit written questions during the presentation; index cards will be provided. After the Industry Day, all questions must be submitted through ProjNet (See instructions below). All questions and official/approved answers will be posted on the Sam.gov website. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING QUESTIONS Questions relating to this webinar and future projects are to be submitted via Bidder Inquiry in ProjNet at (https://www.projnet.org). To submit and review inquiry items, participants will need to use the Bidder Inquiry Key presented below and follow the instructions listed below the key for access. A participant who submits a comment /question will receive an acknowledgement of their comment/question via email, followed by an answer to the comment/question after it has been processed by our technical team. All timely questions and official/approved answers will be made available through ProjNet. Official/approved answers to all timely questions will also be posted on the Sam.gov website in the form of a report generated from ProjNet when all answers are finalized. We appreciate your questions and feedback by 5:00 pm, AST on December 6, 2023. Note: Please indicate the name of the project when submitting your questions. The Solicitation Number is: W51DQV-25-R-0005 The Bidder Inquiry Key is: Z5UDH9-HHDIXF Specific Instructions for ProjNet Bid Inquiry Access from ProjNet home page: 1. Identify the Agency. This should be marked as USACE. 2. Email. Enter the email address you would like to use for communication. 3. Key. Enter the Bidder Inquiry Key listed above. 4. Click Continue. A page will then open saying that a user account was not found and will ask you to create one using the provided form. 5. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Company, City, State, Phone, Email, Secret Question, Secret Answer, and Time Zone. Make sure to remember your Secret Question and Answer as they will be used from this point on to access the ProjNet system. 6. Click Add User. Once this is completed you are now registered within ProjNet and are currently logged into the system. Specific Instructions for Future ProjNet Bid Inquiry Access from ProjNet home page: 1. For future access to ProjNet, you will not be emailed any type of password. You will utilize your Secret Question and Secret Answer to log in. 2. Identify the Agency. This should be marked as USACE. 3. Email. Enter the email address you used to register previously in ProjNet. 4. Key. Enter the Bidder Inquiry Key listed above. 5. Click Continue. A page will then open asking you to enter the answer to your Secret Question. 6. Enter your Secret Answer and click Login. Once this is completed you are now logged into the system. CONTRACT SCOPE Rio de La Plata Flood Control Project, North Coast Super-Aqueduct Relocation, Dorado and Toa Baja, Puerto Rico The North Coast Super Aqueduct (NCSA) is a 72-inch diameter waterline that provides potable water from Arecibo to San Juan and is owned by the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA). The NCSA Relocation Project includes relocation of approximately 1,000 feet of the NCSA to perform channel improvements in the area north of Highway PR-22 as part of a future project. Temporary bypass pipes will be installed to minimize service interruptions during construction and provide flexibility of operation for future maintenance and/or repairs by PRASA. Work will require significant coordination with PRASA during construction. NAICS CODE: 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a small business size standard of $45M.
