- Special Notice: N0016425SNB13 Agency: Department of the Navy Office: Naval Sea Systems Command Location: Naval Surface Warfare Centers - Crane Division Classification Code: AC33 � National Defense R&D Services: Defense Related Activities: Experimental Development NAICS Code: 336411 � Aircraft Manufacturing Responses Extended Due Date: December 13, 2024 Request for Solutions: Command and Control (C2) for Collaborative Combat Aircraft PURPOSE This Request for Solutions (RFS) is issued to address the need Naval Surface Warfare Centers (NSWC) Crane has in seeking solutions that would successfully integrate existing autonomous air vehicle platforms and advanced communication prototypes allowing for secure tactical communications between multiple similarly configured platforms and provision networked data capabilities. The Government will evaluate the solutions with the intent of awarding multiple Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) in accordance with 10 U.S. Code � 4022. BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY EMC2 Vendors interested in responding to this RFS must be members of the Expeditionary Missions Consortium - Crane (EMC2) consortium. Interested parties may visit emccrane.org for membership information. This project will be managed by a Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division Project Manager. NSWC Crane Division is seeking solutions for the requirement from the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD (R&E)) to develop and successfully integrate prototypes into existing autonomous air vehicle platforms and advanced communication prototypes allowing for secure tactical communications between multiple similarly configured platforms and provision networked data capabilities.
