UPDATE #3 Amendment #0002 to the RFP was released on November 20, 2024. You are invited to submit a proposal in response to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Centers GLObal Modeling and Assimilation Support (GLOMAS) solicitation. The principal purpose of this requirement is to provide support to the maintenance and development of the GMAOs Goddard Earth Observing System (GEOS) model and its application to data assimilation, weather and climate prediction, and various scientific studies. The work will include supporting the development and validation of individual model components within the GEOS modeling system; maintenance of the GEOS Climate Diagnostics Package; the development and integration of external components, such as the seaand land-ice models within the GMAOs GEOS modeling and assimilation system; and supporting the use of the GEOS modeling and assimilation system for the various applications in numerical weather prediction, sub-seasonal to seasonal prediction, and decadal climate prediction. NASA will conduct this acquisition as a small business set-aside competition. This competitive acquisition will result in a Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement with the ability to issue CPFF task orders. The contract will have an effective ordering period of 5 years from the contract effective date. The anticipated contract award date is April 30, 2025, with a June 1, 2025 contract effective date. The contract will be performed onsite at NASA GSFC. Alternate places of performance may be specified in individual task orders issued.
