Page 2 of 2 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE VA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in support of VA Puget Sound Health Care System Seattle Division, Seattle, WA is currently requesting information to determine the existence of viable sources capable of providing construction services. Work shall be performed at the Seattle VA Medical Center, Seattle, WA, physical address 1660 S Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108. Building 100 is in the main Seattle VA Medical Center Campus. Period of Performance: The intended contract period of performance is for 250 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Description of Construction Services: The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, and materials to completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, electrical, painting, and perform other work for the renovation of approximately 762 square feet of existing space in the Radiology Department to Renovate for the Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab. The VA Puget Sound HCS Seattle Division is remodeling approximately 762 square feet of existing space within the imaging department, room 2D-117 (B100, Radiology second floor). The existing Philips C-ARM machine will be replaced with an upgraded Siemens Healthineers Artis Q and the current special procedures room will be converted to a VHA Technical Information Library (TIL) compliant IR lab. The room consists of an equipment storage space, control room and IR lab. All work shall be performed per contract drawings and specifications. Renovate approximately 762 sq feet of interior space that will be converted to a TIL compliant IR lab. The project will include architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical revisions to upgrade the existing area for installation of the IR suite and Siemens Artis Q. All necessary utilities are in the building and must be extended and connected from surrounding areas within the building. Critical coordination and scheduling are required for supporting the installation of government purchased Siemens Artis Q. Successful integration with COR and equipment installer (Siemens Healthineers) is essential. Renovation of the space in B100 Radiology IR lab will not include modifications to the walls. Work includes the following but is not limited to: replacement of floor and ceiling finishes, ceiling systems, mechanical (HVAC), medical gas, lead shielding, asbestos abatement, electrical, telecommunications, nurse call, security, fire alarm, and fire protection sprinkler work. New finishes should match existing finishes and color schemes in the hallway and supporting spaces, unless otherwise noted. Any construction submittals for architectural features shall be reviewed by VA interior design. IAW FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS Code: The tentative NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for NAICS Code 236220 is $45.5 million. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, and it will be the Contracting Officer who will determine which suggested changes are accepted. This is a sources sought notice to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses: Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
