- INDUSTRY DAY NOTICE The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 12, 115 South 84th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214 on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 12 VA Great Lakes Health Care System facilities intends to host an Industry Day on Friday, December 13, 2024. The Industry Day schedule is as follows: Milwaukee VAMC, 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295 / 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. and Jesse Brown VAMC, 820 S. Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612 / 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. Purpose & Intent The purpose of Industry Day is to allow interested small businesses to share their capabilities in providing wireless Cardiac Arrhythmia Monitoring Services for the following VISN 12 facilities: Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (VAMC), the VA Illiana Health Care System (Danville, VAMC), the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital (VAH), the Oscar G. Johnson (Iron Mountain) VAMC, the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital (Madison) VAH, the Tomah VAMC, the Clement J. Zablocki (Milwaukee) VAMC and the Milo C. Huempfner Health Care Center (HCC). Interested small businesses will be afforded the opportunity to present their monitoring devices and answer onsite questions of cardiology stakeholders. The small businesses are encouraged to bring their pamphlets and literature during the visit. It is the Intent of the VA to seek small businesses with experience in providing wireless 3-lead devices with real-time transmission, supplies, labor, and management required to perform cardiac arrhythmia monitoring services for (up to) 48-hour (Holter); (up to) 30-day memory loop (event) monitor; (up to) 15-day ambulatory (mobile) cardiac telemetry (ACT/MCT) and 15-day to 30-day ACT/MCT for patients experiencing infrequent symptomatic cardiac events. Services shall be provided twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, including federal holidays on an on-demand/as-needed basis. Tracings and reports shall be processed and available to VA/FHCC staff 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year via the internet, facsimile (fax) or other electronic method. The contractor will be required to provide two different types of reports, to include heart rate histograms interim and summary (end of service). Upon receipt of recorded data, contractor personnel shall perform preliminary interpretation of ECG tracings and compile interim and/or summary reports. The resultant contract will be a five (5) year ordering period, Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity contract with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025. Interested Vendors In order for a vendor to be considered for an award, it must: Be active in SAM.gov | Home Be active in Small Business Search (sba.gov) Have systems that are Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 compliant(s) ensuring secure storage and encryption of all veteran data. Multiple service centers certified as Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities (IDTFs) and/or Equipment e.g., servers, phones, monitoring devices, etc. and qualified staff co-located in different states [/ environmental zones to ensure uninterrupted monitoring services for at-risk veterans. All monitoring devices provided in the performance of this contract must be FDA approved. INDUSTRY DAY REGISTRATION A vendor must be registered in order to participate in the Industry Day event. Interested vendors shall respond to the Contracting Officer by email to Patrice.Bond@va.gov no later than November 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. The Subject Line of the email must read as follows: 36C25225Q0084 (Cardiac Monitoring Services Industry Day) Company Name. Registration will consist of the following: Company name Name of participant. Contact information of participant (email and phone number). Name of the device(s) that will be presented. Confirmation of which sites the participant will attend (preferably both site). This notice is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, a Solicitation or a Request for Quotes, or an indication that the Government will contract for the services contained in the Sources Sought Notice. This notice is not to be construed as an acquisition Request for Quotation, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for response to the Notice.
