- Description
- NOUN:CONTROL, POWER SUPPLY NSN:6130-01-575-0929 Part Number: Gov: 12467273-4/19207/1/2 MANU: RP-3S080M0-600REVD/19645/3/2 The intent is to issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract for this procurement with the following estimated quantities: Base Quantity: 335 Option Quantity: 100% Response Due Date: 11/20/2024 FOB Destination Description: The Remote Power Control (RPC), 12467273-4 (RP-3S080M0-600 REV D), this Controller is used in the Hull Power Distribution Unit (HPDU) Assembly on the M1 Abrams Platform. The HPDU distributes power to the Fire Control Electronics Unit (FCEU) and Remote Switching Modules (RSMs) in both the hull and turret and provide power and switching capability to loads local to the assembly. The assembly also provides input into the total Improved Power Management (IPM) diagnostics, controls vehicle master power on and vehicle master power off, provides the Software Reset function, Auxiliary Bus Fail Safe function, Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Emergency Stop, Analog Input Module (AIM) Bus Monitor, and houses the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) slave connector for the vehicle. The RPC in the HPDU manages and monitors electrical power distribution to various systems on the M1 Abrams platform. The RPC distributes electrical power efficiently to different components, ensuring that critical systems receive the necessary energy. Please Note: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a guarantee to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Defense Logistics Agency-Land, Warren, is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any potential future RFPs
