- Description
- NASA/AFRC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Western Regional Multiple Award Construction Contracts (WRMACC), Indefinity Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) acquisition to perform construction services.� WRMACC will cover both Northern California and Southern California. The majority of the construction work applied to this contract will be performed for NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC), Ames Research Center (ARC), NASA Office of JPL Management and Oversight (NOJMO), AND Edwards Air Force Base, United States Air Force (EAFB) but will be available to other locations to include: Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex (GDSCC) in Fort Irwin, CA; Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL) in Simi Valley, CA. The total ordering value of all contracts is $450,000,000.00 and the effort shall have a period of performance of five years. This acquisition is a a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 236220 and $36.5M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about November 1, 2024 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about December 13, 2024. The firm date for receipt of bids or proposals will be stated in the RFP.� Drawings will be available via electronic methods, information for obtaining documents will be provided in the solicitation. � All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at: https://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/procurement/regs/Procurement-Ombuds-Comp-Advocate-Listing.pdf. If a solicitation is released, then it will be available on www.sam.gov with instructions on how to obtain additional documents. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).� All contractual and technical questions or comments regarding this synopsis must be submitted via email to Contracting Officer, Cacie Carrillo, cacie.carrillo@nasa.gov and Contract Specialist, Eleonor Barron, eleonor.barron@nasa.gov. Telephone questions will NOT be accepted.
