Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG), Counter IED Section (CIEDS), Render Safe Unit (RSU), has a requirement for training courses in electronics with the focus of enhancing operational capabilities to neutralize and disable a Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD).� The purpose of this training is to develop, practice, and continually enhance the skills required to overcome countermeasures, access denial technologies, and the fusing and firing systems deployed by terrorists / criminals in a WMD. RSU Requirements for Local contractor to produce and provide training locally for a WMD render safe unit of the FBI on manual techniques. Fixed facility within 40 miles of FBI Academy, Quantico, VA (1 Range Rd, Quantico, VA) Fixed facility within 45 minutes of FBI Academy, Quantico, VA(1 Range Rd, Quantico, VA) Ability to pass FBI security to store non-sensitive equipment for RSU teams. Ability to have Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)/Bomb Technician (BT) disrupters to be used on location. SECRET Safeguarding Personnel to pass a FBI limited background security investigation Personnel that have a background from NAVSCOLEOD/HDS or can show experience building training aids for EOD/BT Location that can support last minute schedule changes. Storage of training aids prior and after events. Instructors/facilitators to support up to 11 personnel simultaneously. On site structures that create training environments that differ from just a demolition range. Preferred experience with the FBI WMD response operational procedures. Preferred Experience with the Tactical Special Agent Bomb Technician training and Tactics. Must be able to know manual tools and power tools on different materials.
