- The U.S. Government intends to publish a Request for Proposal (RFP) to consolidate electric supply services using 100% Carbon Pollution-Free Electricity (CFE)[1] for four (4) US Embassy and consulates site under one contract. A. U.S. Embassy - Bras�lia B. U.S. Consulate General - Recife C. U.S. Consulate General - Rio De Janeiro D. U.S. Consulate General - S�o Paulo The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code System (NAICS) code is 221122, Electric Power Distribution. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. U.S. Consulate General Sao Paulo will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov when it is available. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.� We intend to award a contract based on initial proposal, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The contract type will be firm-fixed price indefinite-quantity indefinite-delivery type contract under which may be placed firm-fixed price delivery orders.� Industry Day We will be hosting a virtual Industry Day for this requirement (in both English and Portuguese) on Tuesday, September 10th at 2:00pm BRT. Please use the link in this Pre-Solicitation Notice to access the event. At the conclusion of the Industry Day event, a Pre-Proposal conference date and time will be announced. It is to your benefit to attend the Industry Day event.� In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, offerors are required to have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov when submitting an offer or quotation.
