Description
RFQ 36C24224Q0632 Amendment 0001 Questions received from potential quoters, as well as answers provided. Question 1: On CLINs 0002AC and 0002AH, Pickup 20cy Open Top (Trash) are listed as As Needed, but the SOW states it is to be picked up 1 time per week.  Please confirm the pickup frequency to be estimated for pricing. Answer: There are 2 different open tops, one that is as scheduled for 1x per week and 1 that is on call.  Meaning we have an extra 20 yarder by the loading dock, we request pick up when we fill it. We use it for clean outs or other debris. Question 2: Manhattan has no CLIN for pickup of pallets. A pickup for pallets CLIN is provided for the other two locations. Only Rental and Per Ton Disposal are listed. Please clarify.  Answer: This was missed and has been added to the price/cost schedule in this amendment. Question 3: There is no CLIN for the waste minimization training.  Will a CLIN be added for these costs? Answer: The waste audits are already listed in the last subCLIN under each CLIN in price/cost schedule. Training has been added to these subCLINs. Question 4: On CLIN 0001AL, the unit for Pickup of 30cy Open Tops (Trash) is listed Month, but the CLIN does not provide a frequency. The SOW lists the pickup frequency at 1 time per week. Is this the frequency to be used for pricing calculations? Answer: Yes, revised 0001AL, 1001AL, 2001AL, 3001AL, and 4001AL. Question 5: On CLIN 0003AC Pickup of 30yd Open Tops (Trash), the pickup frequency is listed at 2 times per week on the CLIN and 1 to 2 times per week in the SOW. Please clarify if this is the frequency per open top or for the 3 open tops in total.  Additionally, please clarify if the frequency is 2 pickups or 1 to 2 pickups.  Answer: 2x per week, revised SOW. Question 6: Can the government clarify if scrap metal and pallets to be picked up when necessary or scheduled every other week? Section 6d of the SOW states every other week, but the CLINs state As Needed. Answer: As needed, we order service when we fill it, usually every other week. Revised in SOW. Question 7: Would the government allow the contractor to install pressure monitoring devices on the VA-owned trash compactors?  Answer: Yes, if it will not create any irrevocable damage to the unit and is at no additional charge to the government. Question 8: As the RFQ response deadline is approaching, we may not receive all of the requested Past Performance Evaluation Questionnaires (PPQ) from our customers in time. Would the government be willing to accept other recent and relevant PPQ forms that we already have on file? Answer: The response due date has been extended until Wednesday October 30, 2024 at 11:00AM EST. Question 9: In what volume should we place the Limitations on Subcontracting Certificate? Answer: Contractor can submit as an attachment.
